What You Will Be Doing...
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Regional Controllers in the preparation, review, and distribution of all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Hospitality Ventures Accounting standard operating procedures, and Hospitality Ventures standard accounting procedures.
Other things you will be doing!
- Reconcile assigned monthly bank account reconciliations
- Review accounts payable for accuracy, coding, and approval
- Responsible for monthly financial statements preparation for any assigned properties
- Responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliation for any assigned properties
- Assist external auditors with year-end audits as needed
- Support VP of Accounting and Finance and CFO as needed
Education & Experience...
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university with a concentration in accounting
- 3 to 5 years of hospitality industry experience either corporate/ regional or on-property related experience and training in the hospitality industry;
- Strong oral and written communication skills
